1、單復(fù)數(shù)含義不同

person是個(gè)體名詞，它泛指man，woman或child中的任何一個(gè)，其復(fù)數(shù)形式是persons，但人們習(xí)慣用people代替persons。

people作“人”講時(shí)，是集合名詞，表復(fù)數(shù)概念。說(shuō)“一個(gè)人”時(shí)，不用people。當(dāng)表示兩個(gè)以上的人時(shí)，可用people。
