inthefrontof與infrontof的用法的區(qū)別是什么?

“意思上不同”以及“表示范圍上不同”。in the front of和in front of的意思雖然都有表示“在…前面”的意思，但是前者主要是指“范圍之內(nèi)的前面”，而后者主要是指“范圍之外的前面”。

in front of, in the front of這兩個短語都可譯為“在…的前面”，它們之間的區(qū)別是；

前者主要指在某物體外面的前面，即兩者是分開的；而后者則指在某物體內(nèi)部的前面，即兩者是包容的。比較:

1、He's sitting in front of the car with the driver.

他跟司機(jī)坐在車子的前面。 (兩人在車外)

2、He's sitting in the front of the car with the driver.

他跟司機(jī)坐在車子的前面。 (兩人在車?yán)?
