from是介詞，作介詞時意思是“從……起；從……開始；寄自，得自；來自；由……（制成）；（兩地的距離）離；從；從……（到）；（使）免遭；由于；根據(jù)；與……（不同）；防；不在；從……來看；妨礙”。

from的用法

1.表示時間“從...開始”“始于” from ... to ..... 從...到....

from morning to evening 從早到晚 from 1:00 to 5:00 從一點到五點

2.表示地點“從...”

from Beijing to Guangzhou 從北京到廣州 choose sth from... 從...中選擇某物

3.表示“離...”

be far from sth 離...遠

具體距離 + from + 地點 離某地有多遠

My school is far from my home. 學(xué)校離我家很遠。

Beijing is 2000 km from Guangzhou. 北京離廣州有2千公里。

4.表示“來自”“從...來...” be from + 地點 come from + 地點
