in表示在……中,在……內,例如：in the village（在村里）in the street（在街上）in the fields（在田里）in the woods（在樹林里）。

on和in的用法及區(qū)別地點

on表示“在物體的表面上”，而in表示“在其中”。

指能用in的表達方式有in the morning，in the afternoon，in the evening和in the night。

只能用on的表達方式有on the next morning，on the following afternoon，on the preceding evening，on the night before，on the morning of 6 January等。

側重點不同

1、in time：in time表示及時，指沒有遲到，時間還充裕。

2、on time：on time表示準時，按時，指按規(guī)定的時刻，不早不晚。

指代不同

1、in time：及時，按時，適時;終于，最后;合拍子，有節(jié)奏地;到底，究竟。

2、on time：adv. 準時。

in，on在方位名詞前的區(qū)別

1.in表示A地在B地范圍之內。如：Taiwan is in the southeast of China.

2.on表示A地與B地接壤、毗鄰。如：North Korea is on the east of China.
