in表示在某個范圍之內(nèi)，沒有出這個圈子；on表示在某個平面上或與一個面相接觸，這一點和over 與above是不同的。at則表示在某個具體的場所或地點，這一點和用在時間之前一樣，都是在一個比較具體的、很小的“點”之前。

in at on表示地點時的區(qū)別

at表示地點：（1）用于指較小的地方。（2）用于門牌號碼前。

in表示地點：（1）用于指較大的地方。（2）雖然是很小的地方，如果說話人住在那里，也可用in。商店、學校、機關(guān)等，若看作一個地點（point）用at，若看作一個場所（place）用in。

on表示地點，一般指與面或線接觸，意為“在……上；在……旁”。

in at on表示時間時的區(qū)別

in通常用于年月，季節(jié)，白天晚上等詞前，如:

on通常用于星期，節(jié)日或具體的某一天

at通常用于鐘點,夜晚中午或某些固定短語中
