rather than的用法：與would連用，would…rather than…或者would rather…than…，意思為寧愿、與其……不如……，例如“I would rather have noodles than rice”，意思為我寧愿吃面條也不吃米飯。

Ratherthan的用法是什么

1.用作連詞(=but not)，意為“而不”“不是……(而是)”“與其……(不如)”，前后連接的成分應該是平行的。

如：

He ranratherthan walked.他不是在走而是在跑。

He is a writerratherthan a teacher.與其說他是教師還不如說他是作家。

You are doing this for yourselfratherthan for others.你做這件事不是為別人而是為你自己。

2.由于既可視為連詞也可視為介詞，所以連接不定式時，后面一個不定式可帶to或不帶to(視為準并列連詞時)，也可用動名詞(視為介詞時)。
