use是日常用語,基本意思是“用”“使用”,多指一種比較明顯地、物質(zhì)地消耗,有時也可指不含或含有很少的消費(fèi)、消耗的意思,強(qiáng)調(diào)目的性與實際效益。

used的用法有哪些

used是形容詞，意為習(xí)慣于，適應(yīng);用過的。used通常有以下三種用法：

1、be used to doing 意為“習(xí)慣于”，to 是介詞，be也常?？商鎿Q為get，become等;

例如：Don't worry.You'll soon get used to all this noise.別擔(dān)心，你很快會適應(yīng)這種吵鬧。

2、be used to do 表示“被用于做......";

例如：Wood is used to make paper.木頭用于造紙。

3、used to do 表示過去常常做某事，而現(xiàn)在不了，強(qiáng)調(diào)與現(xiàn)在的對比.

例如：I used to smoke,but I gave up two years ago.我以前抽煙，但兩年前戒了。

注：used to 的否定式為used not to，usedn't to 或usedn't to,口語中也說didn't use to。

一、used to do sth：過去常常做某事，暗示現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不再做了。

1、used to do sth表示“過去常常做”與would do sth的`區(qū)別是表示“過去的常常做的動作”時，常用would do sth.其它都用used to do sth.

例句：when he was a child ,he would go camping in the open air.

當(dāng)他是孩子時，經(jīng)常到戶外宿營。

2、there used to be sth+地點，表示某處過去常常有某物，暗示現(xiàn)在已不存在。

例句：There used to be a temple on the top of Tian zhong Hill.

天中山頂過去有一座寺廟。

二、get/be used to doing sth.（現(xiàn)在）習(xí)慣做某事=be /get accustomed to doing sth.

例句：I get used to reading English every morning.

我習(xí)慣每天晨讀英語。

三、sth be used to do 某物被用來做某事=be used for doing sth.

例句：Scissors are used to cut things.
