后面可跟名詞、動(dòng)詞ing或從句。despite，作介詞時(shí)譯為“即使，盡管”；作名詞時(shí)譯為“侮辱，傷害，輕視，鄙視，憎恨”；作動(dòng)詞時(shí)譯為“故意使煩惱，故意傷害”。

despite后面可以接什么

首先，Despite 通常位于被強(qiáng)調(diào)的句子之前。例如：Despite the rain, we still had a great time at the concert.（盡管下著雨，我們?nèi)匀辉谝魳窌?huì)上度過了愉快的時(shí)光。）

其次，Despite 后面可以接名詞、動(dòng)名詞、形容詞或介詞短語等。例如：Despite the bad weather, we decided to go for a walk.（盡管天氣不好，我們還是決定去散步。）
