too much和so much的區(qū)別有：意思不同。too much：(用于形容詞和副詞前)太，過于，過度，也，又，還。so much：(表示程度)這么，這樣，那么，那樣，如此，很，極。

so much和too much的區(qū)別

too much和so much的意義十分相近，都是指很多，但它們也有不同點：

雖然兩者都可以表示“太多…….”，但too much一般和to搭配，構成“太多……以至于不能……”的特殊含義;而so much一般和that 連用，構成“太多……以至于……”

兩者還有一個根本區(qū)別：too much一般是相對獨立的，與上文沒有太大的關聯;而so much與上文的聯系十分緊密，不可分割。

1.修飾對象不同

so much用于修飾不可數名詞，例如：

There is so much water. 這里有很多水。

so many用于修飾可數名詞，例如：

Faced with so many difficulties,she wilted. 面對那么多的困難，她退縮不前了。

2.部分含義不同

so many和so much除了都可以表示“很多、大量”之外，so much還可以表示“非常”。例如：

I love your book so much. 我非常喜歡你的書。

If I had not been enjoying the work,I would not have done so much of it. 如果我不喜歡這份工作的話，就不會這么賣命干了。

He loves his friends so much. 他非常喜歡他的朋友。

much修飾比較級

修飾比較是副詞much的常見用法，“much + 比較級”的意思是“更……”“……得多”。

1.It’s much colder today than it was yesterday. 今天比昨天冷得多。

2.It was much worse than I thought. 它比我想像的還要糟得多。

3.We will be a much better football team next year. 明年我們將會成為一支更好的足球隊。
