other其他的，另外的，泛指另一個、另一些；the other可作代詞也可作形容詞，表(兩者中的)另一個；another泛指(指三者或三者以上中的)另一個，既可作代詞又可作形容詞；others泛指別的、其他人，是other的復(fù)數(shù)形式。

other others another the other的側(cè)重點不同

1、other其他的，不是指剩下部分的全部， 相當(dāng)于other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞。

2、the other特制在一定范圍內(nèi)的其余所有的人或物。

3、others所指的其他人并非其他所有的人，指其他部分的全部，相當(dāng)于other+復(fù)數(shù)名詞。

4、another指三者或三者以上的人或物。

other、the other、another、others的用法

一、another泛指(指三者或三者以上中的)另一個，既可作代詞又可作形容詞。

1、做代詞時

如：①、I have finished this book,please give me another. 我已經(jīng)寫完這本書了，請再給我一本。

②、I don't like this one .Please show me another .我不喜歡這一個，請再給我一個。

2、做形容詞

如: I will be back in another ten days. 我再過十幾天回來。

3、another one 另外一個

4、another+數(shù)詞+名詞復(fù)數(shù)=數(shù)詞+more+名詞復(fù)數(shù)

如: another ten chairs=ten more chairs 另外十把椅子

5、another+名詞單數(shù)=one more+名詞單數(shù)

如: another apple=one more apple 又一個蘋果

二、other其他的，另外的，泛指另一個、另一些。作定語時，常與可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)連用。

如: We learn English、Chinese、Maths and other subjects.我們學(xué)習(xí)英語、語文、數(shù)學(xué)和其他科目。

但如果前面有the、some、any、each、every及形容詞性物主代詞時，可與可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)連用。

如: every other day

三、others泛指別的、其他人。是other的復(fù)數(shù)形式。相當(dāng)于other+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)

如：she has more concern for others than for herself. 她關(guān)心別人勝過關(guān)心自己。

注 : 泛指:表示除去一部分后的另一些，但不是剩下的全體。

常用結(jié)構(gòu): some…others… 一些…另一些…

如: ①、Some students are doing their homework, but others are talking loudly.一些學(xué)生正在做作業(yè)，但是另一些在大聲說話。

②、Many people are in the park, some are singing, others are dancing. 許多人在公園里，一些人在唱歌，另一些在跳舞。

四、the other可作代詞也可作形容詞，表(兩者中的)另一個，常用于one..the other..的句型中。

如: ①、she has two children，one is a boy，the other is a girl. 她有兩個孩子，一個是男孩，另一個是女孩。

②、He has two brothers， one is a doctor， the other is a policeman. 他有兩個兄弟，一個是醫(yī)生，另一個是警察。
