such as和for example的區(qū)別：列舉數(shù)量不同、位置不同、短語類型不同。such as用來列舉事物時一般插在被列舉事物和前面的名詞中間。for example用來舉例說明，有時可作為獨立語插在句中，不影響句子其他部分的語法關(guān)系。

1.做“例如”講時，列舉數(shù)量不同

for example

一般指拿同類人或事物中的“一個”為例

For example, they plant trees.

例如，他們參與種樹。

such as

用來列舉同類人或事物中的幾個例子

We have different pies, such as apple pies, cherry pies, and strawberry pies.

我們有不同的派，例如蘋果、櫻桃和草莓派。

注意：

用such as來舉例子，只能舉出其中的一部分，一般不能全部舉出，如果要全部列舉出，要改用 namely。

for example

作插入語，可獨立成句用，逗號隔開，可置于句首、句中或句末。

3.短語類型不同

such as是短語介詞，而for example是介詞短語

短語介詞還是介詞，須帶上賓語才能構(gòu)成介詞短語，也就是說短語介詞是不能在句子中充當(dāng)句子成分的，需要再帶上賓語才能在句子中充當(dāng)狀語，定語，表語和賓語補語。

也就是說such as不能單獨存在，必須加上賓語，構(gòu)成介詞短語，在句子中充當(dāng)狀語，定語，表語和賓語補語。

such as意為例如;像;象…這樣;諸如…之類。不能單獨成句，也不能用于句首或句末。
