I'm honored to give this speech. With the development of society and economy, the number of private cars is increasing at a surprising speed. As we all know, cars give off poisonous gas such as carbon dioxide, causing global warming, frequent natural disasters, diseases and so on. In order to protect our environment, it is high time that we should go green.

Firstly, we should raise people's awareness of the importance of going green. Secondly, using public transportation or riding bicycles instead of using cars can make a great difference to the problem. What's more, we should take full advantage of water, electricity, paper, food and so on. Last but not least, it is a good idea to classify rubbish and recycle it in our daily life.

高考英語作文怎么才能寫好

寫作文時，不會寫的單詞短語就不要寫，換一個角度去想這個單詞。舉一個簡單的例子，有一個同學想在作文中表達“學費”的意思，但是他不會這個單詞，于是寫下了“the prise of study”。當“學費”這個單詞我們不會寫的時候，我們可以換一個角度去想，學費是“為了教育而付的錢”，所以學費可以表達為"the money for education"。
