so many是“這么多、如此多”的意思,后面是“以至于?！?表示一種結(jié)果; 而too many是太多了,一般說“too many”,常和不定時(shí)連用,表示否定意思,往往譯作“太多了,而不能”。

so many和too many的區(qū)別

修飾對(duì)象不同1.so much用于修飾不可數(shù)名詞，例如：

There is so much water. 這里有很多水。

2.so many用于修飾可數(shù)名詞，例如：

Faced with so many difficulties,she wilted. 面對(duì)那么多的困難，她退縮不前了。

2部分含義不同so many和so much除了都可以表示“很多、大量”之外，so much還可以表示“非?！?。例如：

1.I love your book so much. 我非常喜歡你的書

2.If I had not been enjoying the work,I would not have done so much of it. 如果我不喜歡這份工作的話，就不會(huì)這么賣命干了。

3.He loves his friends so much. 他非常喜歡他的朋友。

4.There were so many people. 這里有很多人。

5.You don't need so many people for this job. 你不需要這么多人來做這份工作。
