of是介詞一般后接名詞,代詞或動(dòng)名詞。意義多為“為了” 。意思是關(guān)于；屬于；…的；由…組成的。例句：I agree that she is the ablest of us.我承認(rèn)她是我們之中最能干的一個(gè)。

of的用法

前面的名詞是主語的情況

1、[表示所屬關(guān)系](屬于)...的 eg:man of that time那個(gè)時(shí)代的人

2、[表示關(guān)于](關(guān)于)...的 eg:a long story of adventure一個(gè)很長(zhǎng)的冒險(xiǎn)故事

短語是主語的情況

1、[表示同位關(guān)系] eg:the city of Rome羅馬市

2、[表示性質(zhì)、內(nèi)容 、狀況等] eg:a look of pity令人哀憐的神色3、[表示在...方面] eg:be quick of eye眼快

后面的名詞是主語的情況
