The population in these villages has to get its water from wells. 這些村子里的居民只好從井中吸水。

population用法

用法1：population的基本意思是人口,還可指居住在某地的全體居民,作主語時謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式; 在表示人口多少時,用large和small修飾。特指某一地區(qū)或某一國家的人口時,則前常加冠詞the。

用法2：population用作可數(shù)名詞,表示一個地區(qū)的特定人群動物群時,其前常加定冠詞the。

用法3：population是集合名詞,有時可加不定冠詞,有時可用復(fù)數(shù)形式。
