意思不同、用法不同、側重點不同。go加動詞ing：去做某事；基本意思是“離開原來的地方向別處挪動”。go to do：goto后常接不帶冠詞的名詞，表示去進行一種活動，而不表示去什么地方。

1.動詞+介詞to：

該類搭配主要有add to, agree to, adhere to, admit to, amount to, come to, object to, submit to等等。

Her father doesn’t consent to her leaving China. 她父親并不贊同她離開中國。

Jack admitted to having broken the window. 杰克承認打破了窗戶。

2.動詞+名詞/代詞+介詞to

該類搭配有ascribe...to, apply...to, attribute...to, devote...to, reduce...to, resign...to等等。

Lucy attributes her success to working hard. 路西將她的成功歸因于努力工作。

The teacher devoted her life to teaching children. 這位老師一生都致力于孩子的教育。

3.動詞+-ed 分詞+介詞to

這類搭配有be used to, be accustomed to, be devoted to...

He is used to getting up early. 他習慣早起。

The boy was reduced to begging for money. 這個男孩淪落為乞丐。

4.動詞+副詞+介詞to

這類搭配常見的有face up to, look forward to, get down to, get round to等等。

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. 我期待盡快收到你的來信。

Stop talking, and get down to doing your homework. 別講話了，開始認真做作業(yè)。

5.形容詞+介詞to：

這類搭配有l(wèi)oyal to, similar to, superior to, sensitive to, equal to等等。

This is similar to playing basketball. 這跟打籃球是相似的。

He is equal to managing the company. 他能勝任公司的管理。

6.名詞+介詞to：

該類搭配主要有answer to, key to, indifference to, obstacle to, aid to等等。

You don’t need to worry about the obstacle to finishing the task. 你不需要擔心完成這個任務所遇到的障礙。

You don’t understand the key to solving this problem. 你不明白解決問題的關鍵。
