國慶節(jié)是每個國家的重要節(jié)日，但名稱有所不同。許多國家叫“國慶節(jié)”或“國慶日”，還有一些國家叫“獨立日”或“獨立節(jié)”，也有的叫“共和日”、“共和國日”、“革命日”、“解放日”、“國家復(fù)興節(jié)”、“憲法日”等，還有直接以國名加上“日”的，如“澳大利亞日”、“巴基斯坦日”，有的則以國王的生日或登基日為國慶日，如遇國王更替，國慶的具體日期也隨之更換。
