much作副詞有“很多地”、“非?！?、“很大程度上”的意思，可以用來修飾比較級(jí)。另外還有一些表示程度的詞可以修飾比較級(jí)。例如：far、by far、a lot、lots、a great deal、a bit、a little等。

much修飾比較級(jí)

（1）Socialism is a much higher social system than capitalism.

社會(huì)主義是一個(gè)比資本主義高得多的社會(huì)制度。

（2）She is much more beautiful than she was underage.

她比她未成年時(shí)漂亮多了。

（3）The moon is much hotter and much colder than the earth.
