arrange用作動詞，既可用作及物動詞，也可用作不及物動詞，表示整理，安排，協(xié)商計劃等含義。arrange不能跟雙賓語,也不能跟復合賓語。

1.arrange的基本意思是指把許多人或事物安排在相對適當的位置上或對構成其事物的諸多個體進行有秩序地排列,也指按期望的目標對事物進行精心的安排處理。

2.arrange用作不及物動詞時,可接介詞for表示安排的內容,接介詞with表示“與…談妥”。

I'll arrange somehow.

我總會設法去辦的。

Be sure to arrange so that we can get there at one o'clock.

一定要想法安排好,使我們能在1點鐘到那里。

3.arrange用作及物動詞時,可跟名詞、動詞不定式(可為被動式)和that從句(多用虛擬語氣)作賓語。

（1）S+～+ n./pron.

Before going away, he arranged his business affairs.

在離開之前,他把業(yè)務都安排好了。

The point is how to arrange our daily life well.

問題在于如何把我們的日常生活安排好。

（2）S+～+(for sb/sth) to- v

I arranged to meet them at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.

我安排好和他們在明天上午10點見面。

Next day he found they had arranged to go by train to Beijing.

第二天,他發(fā)現大家已經安排好,打算乘火車到北京去。

（3）S+～+that-clause

I arranged that I shall have dinner with him tonight.

我安排好和他一塊吃晚飯。

He arranged that we go together.

他安排我們一起去。

（4）It is/was ～ed+that-clause

It was arranged that they leave the following week.

已經安排好他們下一個星期就動身。

It was arranged that we have to have supper at the airport.

根據安排,我們將在機場吃晚飯。
