helpful的用法

helpful用作形容詞，有給予幫助的，有益的，愿意幫忙，(事物）有助于改善局面的，有好處的等含義。

helpful的用法

1.用作形容詞

Having the right equipment at hand will be enormously helpful.

手頭上有合適的設(shè)備將會(huì)幫上大忙。

An A to Z of careers gives helpful information about courses.

按字母順序排列的職業(yè)大全提供了有助于課程選擇的信息。

During the war his pacifist leanings were not helpful.

戰(zhàn)時(shí)他的和平主義思想派不上用場(chǎng)。

2.be helpful in doing sth. 對(duì)做某事有幫助

We hope this leaflet has been helpful in answering your questions.

我們希望這個(gè)宣傳單可以幫助您找到您想要的答案。

3.it is helpful (for sb) to do sth

It is helpful to discuss your problems with your friends.

跟你的朋友們聊聊你遇到的問(wèn)題是有好處的。這里的It是形式主語(yǔ)，真正的主語(yǔ)是to后面的句子

4.be helpful for sb對(duì)某人事有益的

Music with the sounds of the ocean or bird song can be helpful for some.

大海的聲音或者鳥(niǎo)叫聲對(duì)你的睡眠時(shí)很有幫助的。
