It is a prestigious historical school with a glorious revolutionary tradition. Its predecessor was the "Zhili Provincial Ninth Normal School" established in September 1925. After the founding of People’s Republic of China in 1949, it was renamed "Hebei Botou Normal School". In July 2000, it became Botou Campus of Cangzhou Teachers College and began offering college education and admitting full-time college students. In April 2009, it was upgraded to Botou Vocational College. In May 2021, it was renamed "Cangzhou Preschool Teachers’ College". Since its establishment, it has created strong school ethos and teaching & learning spirit and passed down from generation to generation. It has trained a large number of outstanding talents for Hebei Province and even the whole nation, and made remarkable contributions to the cause of national liberation, the birth of New China and socialist construction.
